Port Art is a
contemporary art facility which houses a gallery, an artist in residence and promotes
a further stable of early and mid-career artists whose
works fit at varying levels into the highly sought after
affordable range. In the front gallery there are new
exhibitions each 2-4 weeks, and there are further stockrooms
with many contemporary abstract paintings, figurative works
and several other genres from represented artists and a rear courtyard with
unique outdoor original paintings and sculptures.
As an extra
service, affordable framing is available to artists and
clients.

In a studio at the
rear of the facility, there are regular workshops and classes for adults and children.

Port Art
Gallery is situated at 384 Bay Street, Port Melbourne in
the 'Paris' or city end of Bay Street surrounded by a french
restaurant, an organic cafe, beautiful boutiques, eateries
& pubs (right opposite the well known Prince Alfred and
Port Melbourne Town Hall).
