Studio
At the rear of the Port Art facility there is a studio, managed by artist in residence, Jennifer Webb.
Throughout the year there is a program of art workshops geared toward drawing and painting.

ADULT GROUP AND PRIVATE CLASSES
THURSDAYS (7pm - 9pm) small intensive sessions are held on a casual or term basis covering all aspects of drawing and painting relating to the chosen goals and objectives of the individuals. A theory tutorial during the term covers color theory, compositional issues and a wide range of technique demonstrations, and weekly sessions remain mostly practical and individually driven, with students ranging from beginner to advanced.(maximum class size 6, register interest to receive notification of availability)

COST: $25/hour CASUAL (minimum two hour semi-private session.)
Private individual tuition $40 per hour (minimum two hours , subject to availability)

TERM KIDS PAINTER'S GROUP (age 5-12)
On Fridays, 3.45 - 4.45pm a permanent term kids art class meets with some very keen little painters ranging from ages 5 to 12. Professional materials are used, semi-private tuition & snacks are provided and the children choose their own themes. Group size average 6.
A second art class for children runs 4.45pm - 5.45 Fridays, for enquiries on either please call or email info@portart.com.au
Cost $300 per term.(all materials except canvases are included. Unlike art class at school, these groups are very small and are for very keen little artists who wish to work on canvas in professional grade materials, learning paint application techniques, drawing, perspective, stencilling, how to make a great composition , how to use colour ( plus collaboration on their own individual project with one on one facilitation with an adult artist mentor).
