Because of it’s advanced

technology we choose to use

the Artcare range of highly proactive conservation matts.

For regular non-conservation framing we use Bainbridge Novacore acid free range which offer many colours with white or black core and textures as well.

We will have to remember with the next specialty box frame to get the photo before wrapping.

This client was presenting a chrome plated hammer to a graduating apprentice. A black linen back matt was chosen, a deep box was made with a black contemporary box moulding and the creme mat with brown reveal at the front of the box finished the presentation of the hammer in a very special and complimentary format.

Deep display boxes can be custom made for a number of applications.

They can be designed with regular or conservation materials. They can have any chosen colours and numbers of matts involved in the presentation. The moulding chosen for the frame needs to be from the range with a very deep rebate. Examples of items that can be presented in this style include any 3D object of value, importance or significance eg. family heirlooms, childrens booties, childhood mementos, medallions, souvenirs etc. Manuscripts and other works on paper look very good ‘floating’ in a box mount as well.
